My name is Monica Pruitt Zoll and I’m excited to announce the launching of my new business: Life Coaching for Caregivers.
I am a certified Life Coach who is excited and ready to provide support, accountability, and guidance to women who find themselves caring for their children, aging parents, or any loved one in their life.
With all this heavy responsibility, we often forget to care for ourselves. Lack of self-care can translate into weight gain, health issues, anxiety and stress, just to name a few negative side effects. The list of potential downfalls is endless when we forget to provide support for ourselves.
A little about me:
I am a mother of two teenagers, I am a wife, I am a daughter and a caregiver to my amazing parents; I am also a certified Montessori teacher, a yoga teacher, and a homeschooling mom (before and during COVID).
While raising my children, I also spent almost 10 years caring for my mother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. As many know, the struggles of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s can impact every part of your life. During this time, the person I most often forgot to care for was me!
Less than a year after my mom passed away, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. My diagnosis came in early 2020, which was further complicated by the anxiety and restrictions caused by the pandemic. While trying to figure out how to handle all the emotions and stress of my diagnosis and treatment, my old friend Julie Reisler reached out to me to join her Life Designer® coaching certification course. The experience was physically, emotionally, and spiritually healing, and came just when I needed it most.
Through my extensive studies and practice, I have gained the tools to help other caregivers on their journey and help empower them to care for themselves, guilt free. I also provide a consulting option for parents of young children who’d like guidance and help with bringing homeschooling into their home.
It is my passion to help others dealing with the challenges of caregiving in this new world. Please contact me if you are interested in a free session and to hear more about what I do and how I might be able to help you as a caregiver, and as an individual worthy of happiness and peace.
