Remodel Your Reality with Kim Fulcher

Kim Fulcher is a seasoned Silicon Valley executive and serial entrepreneur. She’s the author of Remodel Your Reality™️; Seven Steps to Rebalance Your Life and Reclaim Your Passion and the creator of the Get Your Groove Back ™️ an on-demand coaching program for women. She speaks professionally about empowerment, engagement, marketing and community culture, and runs a coaching organization that specializes in helping professional women succeed in their careers.
 
A frequent media contributor on wellness and women’s issues, her expert advice has been featured in magazines such as Time and Seventeen, and she’s a regular blogger for Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global.
 
Kim’s twenty-year career history includes experience in education technology, digital media, and community development. She’s a recognized expert in customer and employee engagement, social marketing and organic referral programs, and serves as a board member, advisor, and angel investor.
 
Her previous roles include executive marketing leadership for HotChalk; an education technology company, founding Compass; a digital coaching company, and co-founding SkillsVillage; a HCM company (acquired by Oracle). Kim combines her diverse business background with more than 12,000 hours of practical coaching experience to help women solve real problems in practical ways.

Things We Learned From This Episode
 
  1. There are three kinds of energy to manage: mental, physical and emotional. We need to remember to listen to our emotions, they are like messengers telling you what’s going on.
  2. Kim talked about learning to experience and name your emotions like you are surfing in the ocean. You imagine each emotion being a wave to ride, not good or bad, just a wave to surf through.
  3. Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s actually one of the most loving things you can do for yourself and others. Self-care is science because you can’t perform at the best level if you’re not taking care of your physical wellness.
  4. Power is not an outside thing you need to find or get, it lives within you. It’s not something we have, it’s something we do.
