- There are three kinds of energy to manage: mental, physical and emotional. We need to remember to listen to our emotions, they are like messengers telling you what’s going on.
- Kim talked about learning to experience and name your emotions like you are surfing in the ocean. You imagine each emotion being a wave to ride, not good or bad, just a wave to surf through.
- Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s actually one of the most loving things you can do for yourself and others. Self-care is science because you can’t perform at the best level if you’re not taking care of your physical wellness.
- Power is not an outside thing you need to find or get, it lives within you. It’s not something we have, it’s something we do.
