Secrets to Decluttering & Adding Joy Your Life with Leah Friedman

You will learn so many great tips and ways to both declutter your life and add way more unbridled joy. Hint: the secret is in having less and letting go of items that don’t bring you joy and meaning. Leah Friedman founded Raleigh Green Gables in 2013, and she and her partners serve clients all over the Triangle. Before that, Leah was a reporter for 15 years at newspapers in Virginia, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina. She most recently worked as a reporter and columnist at The News & Observer in Raleigh, NC. But Leah has always been an organizer and minimalist. When she was six, she rearranged her bedroom furniture every weekend to achieve maximum floor space. In her current home, she has removed closets because she did not need the storage. She is a proud University of Virginia Wahoo. When she is not organizing, you can find her with her family or in her garden or swimming on her half-ironman relay team. Leah also adores the “Anne of Green Gables” book series, where Anne Shirley’s cottage was always swept clean and full of good food and cheer. Leah is regular blog writer for WRAL’s Go Ask Mom. She’s been featured in Walter Magazine and regularly appeared on NBC’s “My Carolina Today.” Leah is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers.
