The Power of a Holistic Approach to Self-care and Medicine with Dr. Betty Wang

Dr. Betty Wang is one of those physicians you’d wait in a long line to see. Dr. Wang talks about the power of listening, empowering and educating her patients and herself.

From the start, Dr. Wang has had the mission of implementing a holistic approach of tuning into a person’s mental, environmental and physical influences in order to comprehensively tackle all disease states. This objective is what compelled her to launch The Body and Wellness Program at BW Primary Care, a nutrition and lifestyle program to help those achieve their wellness intentions with safe and evidence-based support, under the guidance of their primary care team.

She shares openly about dealing with her own food struggles and learning how to pay attention to her body cues and changing habits around eating and food so that she can continue to be a role model for her children and patients.
